Oschadbank has released a video report showcasing its mobile units operating in the Sumy region. This initiative was launched in the winter of 2025.

Journalists from "Espreso" TV channel, alongside Oschadbank's CEO Serhiy Naumov, visited frontline areas in Sumy to demonstrate the functionality of these mobile offices. They traveled through the villages of Hlyns'k and Kyrykivka, where there are no brick-and-mortar banks. Here, locals require cash withdrawal services, utility payments, and card issuance.

The Sumy region consists of 51 territorial communities, 22 of which are in high-risk combat zones. The mobile unit of Oschadbank serves 15 of these communities, providing essential financial services in areas where banking infrastructure is nearly nonexistent.

The mobile units, equipped with cashiers and security personnel, regularly visit remote areas lacking banking services. Their schedules are coordinated with local authorities and adjusted according to the security situation. These units are outfitted with advanced communication, security, power supply, and climate control systems.

There is a significant demand for financial services in these communities. Unfortunately, not all Ukrainians have access to online banking, making Oschadbank's mobile units a vital solution for many.

"The importance of Oschadbank's return to these areas cannot be overstated. I witnessed this firsthand during my visit to Sumy. Mobile units are reviving communities that need pensions and social benefits. We aim to increase the number of branches in high-risk zones," - said Serhiy Naumov.

The mobile units project is a crucial part of the "My Barrier-Free" initiative, which provides banking services to residents in dangerous regions.

Currently, Oschadbank's mobile units are operating in eight regions of Ukraine, including Donetsk, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kherson, and Chernihiv. In 2024, there are plans to expand their operations further into Dnipropetrovsk and Mykolaiv regions.
