The II National Conference with international participation "Youth and Change in Kyiv" was held in the capital. Over two days, young leaders, researchers, and university students presented their ideas that could enhance the urban environment. The event was opened by Mykola Povoroznyk, the first deputy head of the Kyiv City State Administration.

"The city government is always open to constructive dialogue with the community and actively involves youth in shaping policies. Young people are the driving force of change, as their ideas and innovations are modern and progressive. They are ready to implement new trends into reality. Our goal is to make Kyiv a more resilient, safer, and comfortable city that meets European standards. Kyiv should remain a place of opportunities for the youth," said Mykola Povoroznyk.

He emphasized that Kyiv, as the capital, is a symbol of change during global transformations, especially due to the youth.

The conference "Youth and Change in Kyiv" was supported by the Kyiv City State Administration as part of the Kyiv Development Platform. The organizers included the Kyiv National University of Technology and Design and other higher education institutions that are part of the Kyiv Scientific and Innovation Cluster.

This year, the event lasted two days due to the significant number of participants and sections. On the first day, young leaders presented their projects at their educational institutions, while the second day took place at the city hall.

Topics included youth initiatives in various fields to create an inclusive urban environment. Specific reports focused on supporting mental health and promoting a healthy lifestyle.

"This platform unites those willing to bring quality changes to the capital and provides an open dialogue for their achievement. Thanks to the platform and the conference "Youth and Change in Kyiv", young leaders have the opportunity to present their ideas and projects, receive feedback, and hear expert opinions," noted the director of the Kyiv National University of Technology and Design, Serhiy Pavlovskyi.

The conference brought together over 300 participants, including representatives from 20 educational institutions in Kyiv and 15 educational and community organizations from other cities in Ukraine and abroad, as well as doctors and candidates of sciences, researchers, doctoral students, professors, and students.
