As of September 2025, the total tax debt of Ukrainian citizens earning from content on the OnlyFans platform between 2020 and 2022 amounts to 384.7 million UAH.
This information was provided by the State Tax Service in response to a request received on September 1, 2025.
"Since the start of 2024, as of September 1, 2025, the total tax debt incurred by individuals - tax residents of Ukraine due to non-payment of taxes on income received from Fenix International Ltd (the owner of OnlyFans) amounts to 384.7 million UAH," the STS stated.
On March 10, 2025, Fenix International Ltd provided data on the earnings of Ukrainians on OnlyFans for 2023, which has already been processed by the tax service and forwarded to regional authorities.
It is important to note that OnlyFans is primarily used for the distribution and monetization of pornographic content, the production of which is considered a criminal offense in Ukraine. Under Article 301 of the Criminal Code, penalties for such activities can reach up to 7 years of imprisonment.
Despite this, tax authorities continue to collect taxes from content creators, and the OnlyFans platform itself is a taxpayer in Ukraine.
Recently, one OnlyFans model submitted a petition to the President's Office demanding the decriminalization of adult content production, arguing that she paid 40 million UAH in taxes from her OnlyFans earnings.
In response to the petition, President Volodymyr Zelensky formally transferred the responsibility for the decriminalization of pornography to the Verkhovna Rada.
It should be noted that the Ukrainian tax authority obtained data on all content creators on the OnlyFans platform in the fall of 2024. Subsequently, by court order, the Bureau of Economic Security gained access to this information and began conducting searches of the highest-earning models.
The EП received a copy of a subpoena sent by the Bureau to another OnlyFans model, whose premises were searched, and property was seized. The formal basis for these actions is an investigation under Article 301 of the Criminal Code, which is not under the jurisdiction of the Bureau. Commenting on this situation, the Bureau stated that the individuals interrogated "misunderstood" the matter.
In response to an EП request, the National Police repeatedly stated that they had not officially received data on individuals earning from OnlyFans, although unofficially, EП learned that certain law enforcement representatives are selling this information for $400.
