The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved the allocation of 840 million UAH to enhance the security of energy facilities in the Kharkiv region.

This was announced by Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko.

It has been stated that funds from the state budget's reserve fund will be directed to the Kharkiv Regional State Administration for the construction of protective structures at the substations of JSC "Kharkivoblenergo".

“This will safeguard the transformers at the substations that provide electricity and heating to over 220,000 residents of Kharkiv region from potential attacks,” emphasized Svyrydenko.
