As of July 1, 2025, the total amount of cash in circulation in Ukraine reached nearly 860 billion hryvnias.

This information has been provided by the National Bank of Ukraine.

This represents an increase of 37.5 billion hryvnias, or 4.6%, compared to January 1, 2025, when the total was 822.4 billion hryvnias.

The most commonly circulated banknote is the 500 hryvnia note, while the least circulated is the 50 hryvnia note (27.3% and 4.4% of the total respectively).

There are 2.6 billion banknotes in circulation worth a total of 851.2 billion hryvnias, along with 15 billion coins valued at 8.5 billion hryvnias.
