On June 23, during an extraordinary session, the government decided to allocate over 22 billion UAH in financial resources provided by international partners for reconstruction efforts.
This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.
Of this amount, nearly 18.5 billion UAH from the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) will be directed towards healthcare, education, agriculture, humanitarian demining, and the restoration of municipal services.
Approximately 1.4 billion UAH from JICA will be used for energy sector recovery and training of deminers to clear Ukrainian land of mines.
Additionally, about 2.2 billion UAH in budgetary support from the European Union will be allocated for the reconstruction and modernization of port infrastructure.
