Premiere of the Film "Tommy Gun" About the War in Ukraine
Gino, who has been serving in the International Legion GUR since 2022, was gravely injured near Kupyansk. His life was saved by his comrade Thomas Harris, known as "Tommy Gun". After rehabilitation, Gino returned to create a film depicting the war through the eyes of its participants.
The film has already received recognition at international film festivals, with organizers stating it serves as a "powerful voice of truth" in uniting the world against Russian aggression.
Following the screening, there will be an online Q&A session with the director and the father of the late Thomas Harris.
The event is organized by the R. T. Weatherman Foundation as part of the FOR FREEDOM project, which also includes an exhibition about foreign volunteers at the "Motherland" monument until the end of May. Admission to the premiere is free.
