From November 13 to 23, Amsterdam will host the International Documentary Film Festival (IDFA) — one of the most significant and influential film festivals in Europe.

This year, five impactful Ukrainian films will be showcased, highlighting the experience, strength, and humanity of the Ukrainian people:

  • “2000 Meters to Andriivka” — directed by Myroslav Chernov
  • “Militantropus” — directed by Yelyzaveta Smit, Alina Horlova, Semen Mozhovyi
  • “The Time Tape” — directed by Kateryna Hornostai
  • “Silent Flood” — directed by Dmytro Sukholytkyy-Sobchuk
  • “Time of Flight” — directed by Vitaliy Mansky

The films by Ukrainian directors represent the voice of a nation that is fighting and creating, offering stories of individuals who maintain dignity, memory, and hope even in the darkest times.

IDFA serves as a platform where documentary cinema becomes a voice of truth, dialogue, and creative freedom.
