The platform "Cultural Forces" has launched a music album in tribute to the Ukrainian infantry. The album features tracks authored by the servicemen of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
This was announced by the Commander of the Ground Forces, Mykhailo Drapatiy.
Mykola Serha, the founder of the "Cultural Forces" platform, shared that the idea for the album was prompted by a request from Mykhailo Drapatiy to create a "powerful song for Infantry Day".
"The album organically developed its unique character, internal concept, and even a certain dramaturgy. I take great pride in this album."
"I am confident that this will be our masterpiece. For the infantry, only the best is acceptable", – Mykola Serha stated, as reported by "ArmyInform".
According to the music producer of the album, Sasha Chemerov, the collection is "multigenre and created for all generations of Ukrainians".
"I believe this is a worthy initiative because our infantry absolutely deserves respect and gratitude", – commented Mykhailo Drapatiy.
Eleven songs are included in the album "The Infantry Stands":
- "Infantryman’s Oath" – "Cultural Forces";
- "The Infantry Marches" – Myroslav Kuvaldin (leader of The VYO band) & Orchestra 59;
- "I Hide and Go" – The Editorial;
- "In the Field" – REMEZ (Oleksandr Remez);
- "Infantry" – WoЇn Kloc;
- "Thank the Infantry" – Prospect Soborny;
- "No Smoking Here" – Vitaliy Kyrychenko;
- "My Infantry" – Yakiv Marnyi (soloist of the band "DK Energetyk");
- "We Are Steppe" – NAZVA;
- "Star Infantry" – Adjunct;
- "Ronin" – Ivan Tkalenko.
As stated on the project’s website, the album opens with the song "Infantryman’s Oath", which "embodies dedication, bravery, strength, and resilience, fidelity to the country and comrades". The creators of the project say that this track is meant to serve as a promise to serve with honor and to protect those in need.
In addition to being published on streaming platforms, the album will also be available as a vinyl record, with sales planned for later.
"This is a unique cultural artifact, an image product, and a memorable item that highlights the value of Ukrainian military personnel as carriers of culture", – the project authors stated.
